Students in Fountain area attend schools in the Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8. Schools in the district rank among the top 20 largest of 178 school districts in Colorado. Kids and teens living in Security-Widefield can attend schools in Widefield School District #3 and the nearby Harrison School District #2. The area is also home of the private college prep school, Fountain Valley School. Children in Fountain Valley will be assigned to one of the following schools:
